Why this role
As a tech-enabled disruptor in the vacation rental industry, Evolve is professionalizing the category by leveraging data science to capitalize on opportunities across the vacation rental ecosystem. The projects we work on aim to fundamentally change how guests interact with vacation rentals and how homeowners maximize rental income generation. As a member of the core data science team, you will be responsible for building machine learning products using a combination of modeling, software development, exploratory analysis, and data strategy to transform how a business domain is able to operate.

What you’ll do
Build, deploy and monitor machine learning models and algorithms that have a sustained business impact
Develop software that allows new models to be reliably deployed and monitored
Maintain model explainability and present new models in a way that builds trust and understanding across stakeholders
Monitor model performance and identify opportunities for iterative improvement
Build predictive datasets using data cleaning and feature engineering techniques
Continue to learn new data science techniques, tooling, and coding best practices
Research new methodologies, concepts and industry trends to guide the creation and adoption of new analytical approaches and technologies
Communicate complex, technical information to non-technical audiences
What makes you a great fit
5+ years of experience in data analytics and 2+ years of data science work
Related technical bachelors, masters, or doctoral degree preferred
Programming experience with Python and SQL, ideally in a full-stack machine learning setting
Software development understanding to be able to create high quality, well-documented, and well-tested code
Clear recognition of how and when to iterate on deployed models
Track record of consistently identifying and prioritizing high value opportunities
Experience working in a collaborative environment and communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders
Location
We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: District of Columbia, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation
For this role our salary range is $106,000 – $130,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
Additional compensation details:
Equity: 50% of salary equivalent RSUs
Variable comp: 10% of salary target
