This position is at the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC), which engages in applied health services and population health research in a project-based, team setting. The Senior Research Analytics Specialist will focus on health-related analytical programming within data warehouse environments. Responsibilities may include: cleaning and processing data for analysis; assisting with the development and implementation of measures from complex, multidimensional data sources; creating analytic datasets from a variety of sources; conducting diagnostic analyses for data quality assurance; computing summaries and descriptive statistics; conducting inferential statistical analyses; identifying and implementing novel and improved practices for data management, cleaning, linkage, analysis, interpretation, and reporting; creating data documentation and metadata; designing data collection instruments including questionnaires and clinical data collection forms; composing reports, whitepapers, and presentation materials; presenting results to project sponsors and other audiences; assisting with the review of results; assisting with the development of interactive visualizations and dashboards; providing technical assistance for statistical programming, research design, and interpretation of results; assisting with the development of protocols and the composition of institutional review board (IRB) applications; assisting with the preparation of data use agreements; conducting literature searches and literature reviews; coordinating the activities of researchers assigned to projects; and assisting with the preparation of responses to funding opportunities. The Senior Research Analytics Specialist will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision and take a substantial role in project activities.
