Ana-Maria Niculescu

Ana-Maria Niculescu

Data Scientist with a creative twist. Python and R aficionado. Ana holds a MSc in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at one of the prestigious "Grandes Écoles" in France, for which she was granted a full scholarship by the French Institute. In addition to that, she holds another MSc and BSc in Computer Science. Since September 2019 she lives in Bucharest and is the leader of a small Data Science team working enthusiastically on diverse projects, some of them being Open-Source.
Claudia Voicila

Claudia Voicila

Claudia is a Quantitative Analyst at National Bank of Romania, working on the Financial Stability Department. Her aria of expertise is Statistical Methods and she has worked with models from classic econometrics, and Bayesian econometrics to modern Machine Learning techniques, like classification trees, and Deep Learning techniques, such as neural networks. She has a vast experience in coding with MATLAB, R, and Python. Her goal is to help implement Artificial Intelligence techniques in central banking analyzes and banking supervision.

Enthusiastic and Passionate Data Scientist, currently a PhD Candidate, with 10+ years of experience in Statistical and Machine Learning techniques applied with R and Data Science applied with Python, with knowledge in Information Technologies and Social Sciences.

Andra is an economist at base, growing a strong attraction towards the digital world and the power of data analysis in giving answers to business problems. She works frull time as an IT analyst and is currently enrolled in a Data Science Master programme. She enjoys working in R and Python for data analysis.

Cristina Boboc

Cristina is Professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics. Since December 2013 she is part of the research team of the Institute of National Economy of Romanian Academy and since 2014 she is National Correspondent for Eurofound, carrying out research on migration, labor market vulnerabilities and social policies. She has a great experience as expert in many national and international research teams on different topics including migration, sustainable development, vulnerabilities on labour market, gender inequalities, illicit tobacco trade. Her passion is both teaching about data analysis methods but also exploring the data and getting wonderful insights from it.
