Applications for Earth Systems Lab 2025 are open and we would love to welcome PhD and postdoc reserachers as well as software engineers to apply!

ESL is a paid eight-week interdisciplinary research program with ESA, which will run from mid June to mid August. The deadline for researcher applications is Monday 31 March 2025, the application process is very straightforward and researchers can apply here.

Now more than ever we must put our spirited resolve towards protecting our planet and the solar system beyond. ESL applies artificial intelligence (AI) to science that pushes the frontiers of research and develops new tools to solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges, from disaster response to the impacts from solar flares and everything in between.
